MAILING YOUR FILM TO NOMADSLAND
NOTE: One of the main missions of NomadsLand is to help filmmakers with social issue documentaries find a new audience. We are looking for independent documentaries which may have done well on the festival circuit - especially films from 1995 - 2005 - whose Internet distribution rights are available. Some films may have achieved critical success but never gained wide distribution. Other films may have never got any significant distribution at all. We are also very interested in films outside the festival circuit including short documentaries, news features and travelogues from talented filmmakers and citizen journalists.
2.) Every month, NomadsLand pays 50% of the rental and download royalties earned by films over 30 minutes. All royalties are e-mailed directly to filmmakers by PayPal.
3.) Every quarter, NomadsLand pays 50% of its advertising earnings to filmmakers with films under 30 minutes based on this formula: 50% of NomadsLand ad revenue that quarter x (An individual film's total streams during the quarter ÷ Total number of film streams on NomadsLand during the quarter). All royalites are e-mailed directly to filmmakers by PayPal.

5.) TRAILERS - If your film is over 30 minutes, we cannot accept your film without a compelling trailer or scene excerpt. A buyer won't rent your film without it. You should create a separate DVD with the trailer or excerpt from your film. It shouldn't be longer than five minutes.
